There's a few reasons why you may not be able to renew a book:
- Someone else has requested the item. You need to return the book to the Library by the due date so the other person can borrow it.
- You may have a block on your library or student record. This may be because:
- you have an expired library or student record;
- you may be suspended from borrowing because you've not returned other library books;
- you haven't paid your student fees.
- You have had the book for so long that all the automatic renewals have been used. You will need to return the item.
If you still want the book, place a request on it after you have returned it. You can also ask library staff about how you might be able to get another copy of the book.
